Congregation L’Dor Va-Dor, founded in 1997 and celebrating our 26th anniversary, is led by Rabbi Barry Silver. We are a congregation and a Rabbi committed to social action and making this world a better place every day, most recently fighting to preserve religious freedom and women’s rights in the state of Florida. Our rabbi, former member of the Florida Legislature and committed to making this world a better place, is building, along with our congregation, the Judaism of Tomorrow today, Cosmic Judaism, based on Jewish wisdom of the past and present along with modern science, traditions, and inspiring messages.
Our High Holy Day Services are ones that you, your children, and your grandchildren can all attend and enjoy. Hear traditional and contemporary melodies and songs, along with some original music, performed by our clergy, Rabbi Barry Silver, Cantor Carol Garrett, and other guest artists. We invite you to join us for this stimulating, evolving, and exhilarating new perspective of our religion.
We invite you to join us not just for High Holy Days, but as a yearly member starting this September.
We do not wish to deter anyone from joining the congregation.
If you have difficulty with the recommended payment amount for membership with L’Dor Va-Dor,
please contact us to discuss discreetly with a Board member to be able to work out an agreeable plan.
