Join L’Dor Va-Dor and friends in-person for a special TASHLICH ceremony by the water!
During this Tashlich ceremony, Jews symbolically cast off the sins of the previous year by tossing bread crumbs into flowing water. We contemplate things done wrong in the past year and then “throw them away,” promising for improvement in the coming new Jewish Year 5784.
We will meet outside of the Hive Waterfront Restaurant, 2412 Floral Road, Lake Worth, FL 33462, by the water on its east side. All are welcome to join us for this ceremony, where we will lighten it up with a touch of humor, making it even more enjoyable and special! Please bring bread or bread crumbs of any type to “cast away into the water”.
Immediately following our Tashlich ceremony , join us if desired for an early dinner or late lunch at The Hive Waterfront Restaurant, 2412 Floral Road, Lake Worth, FL 33462. Menu has lots of choices, including early bird complete dinners, sandwiches, salads, and more.
Please let us know you will attend (RSVP) to dine with us by texting or calling to the synagogue phone 561-968-0688 by no later than Wednesday, Sept. 13th (name and number of persons for dinner). If you do not intend to join in a meal with us, you do not need to RSVP. Cost of meal will be personal responsibility.
The Hive Restaurant is located on the north side of Hypoluxo Road, between Congress and I-95 and is accessed by turning north at Eastview Drive (west of restaurant) and right turn onto Floral Road.
