This gathering of the L’Dor Va-Dor Maven Book Club will meet on Sunday, October 18 at 2:00 pm at the West Boynton Beach Library, 9451 Jog Road, Boynton Beach.
Since we have over two months (due to High Holy Days), we have chosen two books to be discussed on October 18th. The first one is “HEART OF A STRANGER: An Unlikely Rabbi’s Story of Faith, Identity, and Belonging” by Angela Buchdahl. The second book is “CASTE: The Origins of our Discontents” by Isabel Wilkerson. Both books are non-fiction, yet read easily and are fascinating books that we hope you will enjoy! The two books we felt have a tie and will work well with one another, especially for our next discussion.
We are also considering have another get-together over coffee or snacks at the Ella Cafe (located in the Publix shopping center at Woolbright and Jog Roads). We will let you know the date and time of this additional Book get-together.

The L’Dor Va-Dor Maven Book Club welcomes one and all who enjoy reading and discussing a good book! The Book Club will meet every 6 to 8 weeks for the discussion of the selected book and choosing the next book to read!
