This gathering of the L’Dor Va-Dor Maven Book Club will meet on Sunday, August 2 at 2:00 pm at the West Boynton Beach Library, 9451 Jog Road, Boynton Beach.
The book to be discussed on August 2nd is “THIS IS NOT ABOUT US” by Allegra Goodman. A Synopsis of this book: When their beloved sister passes away, Sylvia and Helen Rubinstein fall into a decade-long feud sparked by a misunderstanding over apple cake, while the dramas of divorces, bat mitzvahs, career setbacks, and grandchildren swirl around them in this wry, multigenerational portrait of a Jewish American family.
This book is available at the Palm Beach County Library system, in print, as a E-Book, and on audio.
