Topic: “Understanding Florida’s Constitutional Amendments from a secular and Jewish perspective”
WHEN: Wednesday October 17th 7 pm
WHERE: Congregation L’Dor Va-Dor 9804 South Military Trail Suite E2-4 Boynton*
Rabbi SIlver will use as a guide for discussion the excellent overview provided by Professor Robert Watson, the League of Women Voters and the participation of any groups that would like to share their perspective. One such group supports the Amendment where felons have their right to vote restored after they have served their term, except for murderers and sex offenders. I will also share a perspective on the Amendments based on Jewish ideals, and of course will invite opposing views.
