President's Message...

With the High Holidays behind us and the fall turning into winter up north, we now see our families and friends return for the winter. This brings a time of joy and excitement as we have time to spend with our friends and loved ones. This is the time of year when South Florida kicks into its "Season" of activities and here at Congregation L'Dor Va-Dor, we are also kicking into high gear with activities and events.

Please join us for our sumptuous Shabbat dinners, great Chaverim Sunday programs, our New Years Eve Gala and our very exciting 15th Anniversary celebration in February. In addition to these major events we will have a Broadway night, Game Night, Family Bingo Nights, Rabbi Samuel Silver Controversial Issues Forums each month with Rabbi Barry, and at 7:30 p.m. on every Friday evening join us in Shabbat Services.

We are introducing something new this year -- a once a month FAMILY Shabbat Service. We hope you will attend all of our events and activities and bring your family members, neighbors and friends with you. But I do warn you ahead of time...that they might just fall in love with our Congregation Family and become members!

In closing, I do want to extend a very special thanks to all of our Volunteers who put in hundreds of hours to bring you all of activities and events. Without their dedication and hard work all of this would not be possible. I look forward to seeing you at our Synagogue very soon and very often!
