 CHAVERIM

By Jack Goldstein & Janet Zweiback

Chaverim, is a social organization or a group of friends that come together for both social and educational experiences. You need not to be a member of our synagogue to be a member of the L'Dor Va-Dor Chaverim...everyone is invited to join.

Dues for the year are $25 for non-synagogue members and $20 for Synangogue members. The cost of most Chaverim events will be reduced for paid-up chaverim members. Our breakfasts, lectures, and saturday night socials are less costly to enjoy if you are a member of Chaverim.

Our breakfasts are informative, entertaining and stimulating, bringing various topics and speakers, not to mention a great breakfast.

Another aspect of the Chaverim is  a social one; day and/or overnight trips and evening events.

You can pick up an application at Congregation L’Dor Va’Dor, or call the Synagogue office @ 968-0688.

Replacing our Sisterhood and Men’s Club we have formed a CHAVERIM... a group of friends and/or a social group designed to share, learn and experience together.   Since the men and women often meet together and socialize it was felt that by combining our efforts and our funds we could plan more activities and do many other activities. Our new year will begin on the 1st of August coordinating with our synagogue year. As of now, we have scheduled the following activities, and we hope you will all join us and participate with us in all our endeavors.
